Wylde Remnants

Fabric should be used and if you’re anything like me, you probably have a stash of it somewhere in your home.

What should I do with my extra fabric?

House of Wylde is dedicated to recirculating excess fabric into the hands of creatives at an affordable price and keeping them out of landfills! Many of us hang on to extra fabric for years because we don’t want to just throw it out, we are creating a fabric collective to solve this issue!

Let it go.

We will gladly accept fabric, thread and notions that you are not sure what to do with. There is power in letting go of old projects and yardage that we hold onto for “one day.” Passing along fabric to another helps to combat the current fabric supply change. Receive a credit for your donated goods to redeem for something else from the shop. Please no clothing or fabric with any strong odors.

Let’s Meet.

Interested in donating your unused fabrics or notions? You can drop off donations in North Hollywood, or we’ll happily pick them up in Southern California. Please email us to coordinate a donation.

Why is this important?

The current fashion production cycle is broken and we can’t save the world dressed in fast fashion. Over 92 million tons of textiles go to waste every year as a side effect of the current fashion industry. (Forbes) By reusing and passing fabric along we are changing the supply change and creating zero waste.

Then what?

We will be hosting a meetup for local creatives to shop all the fabric for only $4 a yard. That’s right! Only $4 a yard, no matter what the content! We will also be offering trade ins, so bring something your not using and leave with something you will create with instead!
