My Manifestation Trick — It got me my Mercedes!

When someone utters the words manifestation, I think the first few things that come to mind are crystals, vision boards and affirmations. Am I right? And though I am always a huge fan of a good vision board, maybe it’s the art student in me, I usually end up glossing over my vision board after about a month as it becomes just another piece of artwork within the pink halls of the House of Wylde.

So ladies, here is my trick to kick this up a notch and keep on reminding yourself of what is possible, this trick even got me my vintage Mercedes.

For years, I had longed over a vintage car, having grown up around car shows and rewatching Grease more time that I can count, vintage fashion, architecture, cars and style will always hold a romantic place in my heart. 

Once I had come to the decision of a vintage 380SL, cue Maren Morris please, it became a game of reading ads, weeding out bad ones and still after months, still nothing. I remember talking to my coach at the time about how badly I wanted to bring this into existence. I just needed a sign it was going to happen, driving home that evening, I saw one. 

So back to my vision board idea, on July 10th 2021, with a New Moon in Cancer, I found the perfect photo representation of the car, it was a red convertible parked up on Mulholland Drive. 

I set it as lock screen on my phone. 

Two week’s later on July 21st I was headed north three hours to take a look at one. It was perfect, second owner from the 90’s. A garage kept car. It was perfect, red, black convertible top and sable interior. What more could a girl ask for? That evening, the car was mine.

Since then I have made it a habit to update my lock screens on the New Moons to photos of experiences and things I want to draw more into my life.
